We inform and advise on all questions regarding care in Berlin. Upon request, we also provide practical support–”for example, by developing an assistance plan together with you. If necessary, we can arrange and coordinate necessary support services, clarify financing and help with the application. Our support is independent, consumer-oriented and free of charge. In all Berlin districts.
We offer orientation
Long-term care affects people from all aspects of life: most people associate it with older people, but children and adolescents are also affected. We advise people in need of care and their relatives as well as professional and volunteer helpers. We also support those who are interested in the subject of care at an early stage. The Pflegestützpunkt locations assume the role of navigator through the health and social services and advise on various support options: which forms of living make the most sense for the special situation of the patient in need of care and which assistive devices could be useful? We are well-versed in the financing aspects of care, powers of attorney and dispositions and also advise on special services for people with dementia as well as relief options for family caregivers.
We work hard for you
The Berlin Pflegestützpunkt locations act independently and with a focus on their clients. We will provide you with comprehensive information and support to enforce your claims. For example, we help affected people stay in their own home for as long as possible to avoid unnecessary relocations to the nursing home. We provide consultation by phone or in person at the Pflegestützpunkt location. If necessary, we will also come to your home.
A strong network for you
Pflegestützpunkt Berlin is funded by the insurance companies of Berlin and the government of Berlin. Your benefit: We assist independently and free of charge. We advise, coordinate and network in all Berlin districts and are also very close to you. Our work is based on the state framework agreement pursuant to § 7c (6) of the German Social Insurance Code (SGB) XI for the work and financing of the Pflegestützpunkt locations. This contract was concluded in 2009 between the state associations of nursing and health insurance funds and the state of Berlin.
